We are Rusty and Erica Harrison. Our story isn't about having it all figured out. It's about together choosing intention, connection, and purpose.
THE EARLY YEARS
THE STORM THAT CHANGED OUR PLAN
BUILT ON COMPLIMENTARY STRENGTHS
We each took the scenic route through several relationships. In mid-life, Rusty left his counseling practice to teach psychology. Erica's path led through fashion, design, and healthcare leadership.
We met, stayed friends for nearly a decade, and eventually discovered a love that felt different. Deeper and more real.
A LIFE THAT LOOKED SUCCESSFUL
By 2025, we had the careers, the cars, boats, motorcycles, more money than either of us had ever made. And, three brilliant adult children who were making their own paths.
We had full calendars. Full closets, Full lives. And, we had a plan..
We would retire in 2028, move to our beloved Caribbean, and immerse ourselves in creativity, service, and adventure.
We married, built a home, and built a life.
Rusty's mind is a universe of words. Erica's is a universe of images.
Rusty is the spark. Erica is the lens.
Different in all the ways that made us better.
In October 2025, Erica experienced a major neurological event. After months of tests and uncertainty, she was diagnosed with PPPD, a chronic vestibular condition that changed our lives.
It ended the fast-paced life Erica had worked so hard to build and causes us to have a major shift in perspectives.
A NEW QUESTION
We had spent years teaching others to live intentionally.
Then life handed us a test.
Our new filter became simple:
"Does this belong in the life we are choosing now?"
CHOOSING DIFFERENTLY
Rusty retired early. We sold everything that wouldn't fit in four suit cases. And we moved to our beloved Caribbean.
Our lives had become clear:
